JoAnn came to Horsham to start a business with a partner, Robert Nochea, which is where the name comes from. He worked behind the scenes and JoAnn opened the doors with 3 employees.
"Robert and I were sitting in the back seat of a limo sipping on champagne. Robert, who already had a salon in Philly, says to me 'Let’s open up a Salon together in Horsham. Looks like a great area!' I already was part owner of a great Salon in King of Prussia but said, 'What the ——!!' We did it. Robert retired a few years after we opened and I’m still here, over 30-years later, with the most talented team of stylists anywhere. From three employees to over twenty (and LOTS of employees in between) and 30 years in business- I'd say we made it !!"
Salon Nochea has been voted Best of Horsham several years in a row. I have also won several personal competitions and awards in my career. I am also a licensed barber and started out specializing in men’s cuts working in King if Prussia. I am certified in Aloxxi Color and Majieral, Dreamcatchers hair extensions, Devacut, and formal styles. Also, I have many certifications in makeup, and can also do tattoo coverup with makeup techniques.
